About Xochitl Ehrl
Xóchitl Ehrl is a longtime folklórico teacher and choreographer dedicated to sharing the traditions of Mexican dance in Santa Fe. Born and raised in the state of Jalisco, Mexico, she brings a deep cultural connection to her work and a passion for passing those traditions on to others. Through Xóchitl Ballet Folklórico, she helps students connect with culture, music, movement, and community while building skill, confidence, and pride.
Over the years, Xóchitl has also contributed to many local productions as a choreography coordinator and dance director, including collaborative performances with Teatro Paraguas. She has helped bring Mexican dance to the stage in productions such as ¡Viva México! and other community-centered performances in Santa Fe.
